Have you been wandering, if so, it’s time to come home

    Today's Encouragement

This is for someone today: You may have found yourself wandering again, in a place you swore to yourself you wouldn’t be lost in again.

You’re aching heart is flooded with sorrow because you aren’t sure if He will love you all over again. You aren’t sure if He will take you back. You aren’t sure if it’s okay to show Him the darkness you’ve been subjected to.

    You’re afraid to come home.

He has seen you, He has watched you wander, He has observed you trying to find your own way in the lost path that leads to emptiness.

All the while, His arms were outstretched.

Not once did He peak at your sin and put His arms down crossing them as if He changed His mind.

    His arms are open.

    Waiting for you.

    Drawing you out of darkness.

    The truth is,

He has never stopped loving you.

You will always be His, and you will always belong to Him.

He has seen your unloveliness, and none of it changed His mind about loving you.

Because NO thing can separate you from

    His love.

Yes, sin creates a distance - but, His love remains the same.

    So, friend,

    Come home.

His invitation for you never expires.

He is the Father waiting on the porch with the door open calling out your name.

    Come home,

    Crawl into His arms,

    And stay with Him.

    You are found.

    Today's Verse:

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. ’ “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.” Luke‬ ‭15:18-24‬‬‬
