Today's Encouragement:
It’s an amazing thing when our comfort zone becomes a far destination we once resided in.
Oh what He can do through you with just one single act of obedience, and one act of blind faith.
What did Moses feel outside of his comfort zone? What did David feel outside of his? They were completely reliant on their God, not just trusting but assured that He will show up.
You see, when you place your foot on that water, gazing at your King as you dare to believe in the impossible that can be done through only Him, that is faith.
What I’m learning is that my comfort zone not only holds me back - but it’s not giving my heart the chance to rely on HIM for the comfort I so desperately seek. when we rely on His comfort, the power we carry is magnified because we aren’t trying to accomplish everything in our own strength and within the filter of our comfort zones.
My challenge to you today is this: take the leap of faith, do one thing outside of your comfort zone that will enable you to completely rely on Him. Watch how it deepens your relationship with you and your Father. ✨
Today's Verse:
“But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here! ” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.” –Matthew 14:27-33 NLT
